Butterfly Conservation is a charity that was formed by a small group of dedicated naturalists in 1968 following the alarming decline of many beautiful butterflies. This donation was made towards their Helping Hands for Butterflies project which is creating and maintaining new wildflower meadows in some of Scotland’s most challenged communities.
