Rehearsals in the new auditorium
Royal Scottish National Orchestra
April 2013
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra was founded in 1891 and since then has worked with some of the world’s most respected conductors and soloists – among them Gustav Holst, Richard Strauss, Artur Rubinstein, Aaron Copland, Luciano Pavarotti and Elmer Bernstein. It has played a crucial role in shaping the musical life of the nation.
The Trust donated towards a music room in their new centre in Glasgow.
