Penicuik YMCA/YWCA – Youth Work Drama Programme

This donation is used to support young people engaged with through Penicuik Y – a youth work drama programme to enable young people to grow and develop in an open, supported environment which stimulates creative, developmental opportunities. It provides opportunities for children and young people from all backgrounds to be supported by a dedicated drama tutor and youth worker.

Penicuik Y’s services for Young People all support  the key messages contained in “Getting it right for every child”, (GIRFEC), a national policy and programme to help all children and young people grow, develop and reach their full potential. Its focus is to improve outcomes for children and their families based on a shared understanding of their wellbeing.
