The Three Hares woodland project improves the quality of lives in Midlothian by running events which promote health and wellbeing (nature connection, conservation management, story-telling, music sharing etc.) to build individual and group resilience, confidence, and connection. It creates education and upskilling opportunities to empower and develop users of the woodland. It is helping conserve and enhance Midlothian’s natural environment through planting, building community through being inclusive and welcoming. It runs regular events on the land for gathering, enjoyment, and completing a shared task, supporting local businesses and artists and striving for diversity and inclusivity.
